Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions In these General Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

• Contractor: Smits Dakkundig Onderhoud, established at Laarderhoogtweg 25, 1101 EB Amsterdam, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 78580463;
• Principal: the natural or legal person who has commissioned the Contractor to perform work;
• Work: the work performed by the Contractor in the context of the Principal’s assignment.

2. Applicability

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements between the Principal and the Contractor.

3. Quotes

All Contractor’s quotations are without obligation and valid for a period of 30 days, unless otherwise indicated.

4. Execution of the assignment

Octrooibureau Novopatent shall execute the assignment to the best of its knowledge and ability, exercising the care that may be expected of a competent contractor.

5. Liability

Contractor shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, including consequential damage, arising as a result of any shortcoming in the execution of the order.

6. Payment

Payment shall be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed. In the event of late payment, the Client shall be in default by operation of law and shall owe statutory interest.

7. Retention of title

All goods delivered shall remain the property of Contractor until Principal has fulfilled his payment obligations in full.

8. Disputes and applicable law

All agreements between Principal and Provider are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district where Provider is located.
